Uncle Mo

Dearest Uncle Mo

I remember your wedding to auntie P so handsome and so happy to have auntie P by your side. The reception was at the Fox and Hounds and you and your guests were having a competition to see who could pop the cork the furthest. Needless to say you won. After all it was your day!
Every time I drive past the pub I always think back to that day.

Memories of seeing you both in Newbury and how much fun and laughter there was in the house.

Memories of a holiday to Devon when we stayed in a log cabin. This was your first trip to Devon which is probably why you moved there in your retirement. What a pity that you never got to stay there. It was so lovely to see your lovely home and smiling face a couple of years ago. The weather was glorious and you spent all afternoon chatting with Alan because we couldn’t get the wheelchair in to your lovely home. You introduced him to the aircraft app, something Alan is now always looking at!

Every time I see an Alder Valley or Bee Line bus I think of you and how lovely it was to see you in town while you were working, driving a bus and then later inspecting.

Now you are partying with your beloved sister Phyllis my Mummy and my dear Daddy the fun and laughter will continue.

God bless you Uncle Mo you will be one hard act to follow xx
